On Saturday, August 14, 2010, the 2nd Annual Hope in Christ Back-to-School Celebration will take place from 1:00 - 5:00 pm in Collegiate Presbyterian Church (CPC), 159 Sheldon, Ames, IA. The Hope in Christ Celebration is a collaboration of New Birth Baptist Church, Body of Christ Church and Collegiate Presbyterian Church in Ames to share Christ with the community through worship, classes, backpack distribution, dessert and entertainment The event is open to parents and their children in grades pre-K thru 12 to celebrate and begin a God-inspired school year. This event is FREE!To register, call 515-450-8881.
Backpacks will be provided to Ames Community School District students in grades pre-K thru 12 if the registration information is received by August 4, 2010. Parent(s) and students must be in attendance to receive the backpacks and school supplies.
There are 3 ways to VOLUNTEER for the celebration, 1) complete the volunteer form by Noon on Wednesday, August 11; 2) email nbbc@newbirthames.org or 3) call 515-450-8881.
