Job & Healing
Submitted by: Steven and Diane
I'm a k-12 art teacher with 18 years of experience in the same school. My school consolidated and I lost my job. I have been looking for work in 2 different states and can't even get an interview let alone a job. I also need prayer for my wife Diane. She has had 2 different types of cancer and God has delivered her from them. But the doctors found a tumor in her neck. She will be having surgery next friday. She is also in a lot of pain from all her past chemo treatments.07-30-2010

CASA child abuse program
Submitted by: Steve Ward
Pray for CASA child abuse program. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASAs are volunteers who are trained to serve as advocates on child abuse and neglect cases. They are appointed by the Judge and often are called "the eyes and ears" of the Court. We need more volunteers and since we are a state program--this next budget year looks pretty scary... that is not good news for the children we serve. 08-28-2009
